Spotlight Event: Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival

August 7th – 9th, 2026 | Grand Targhee Resort – Alta, WY (just over the Idaho border from Driggs)

The biggest event of the summer for the entire Teton Valley corridor, the Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival returns for its 36th year with one of the strongest lineups in its history. Headliners include four-time Grammy winner Sierra Ferrell and breakout star Jesse Welles, joined by Railroad Earth, The Devil Makes Three, Yonder Mountain String Band, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, The Brothers Comatose, Tim O’Brien Band, Lindsay Lou, and more — all performing against a backdrop of the Teton Range. While the venue sits just across the state line in Alta, Wyoming, Driggs is the de facto home base for the festival, with lodging, restaurants, and the full Teton Valley experience right at your doorstep. Camping is available on site, and all ages are welcome. Gates open Friday at 12:30pm.

Free Event: Music on Main

August 6th & August 13th, 2026 | Victor City Park – 58 N Main St, Victor, ID 83455 (Gates 5pm, Music 5:45pm)

Now in its 21st season, Music on Main is one of Idaho’s best-kept secrets — a free, all-ages outdoor concert series that brings national-caliber acts to Victor City Park every Thursday night under the Teton Range. The August lineup closes out the season strong: August 6 features Bozeman singer-songwriter Madeline Hawthorne paired with DUG, a Dublin folk duo blending Irish and American old-time music, and the season finale on August 13 brings Afrosonics, a Boise-based collective combining African rhythms with funk, rock, and electronic soundscapes. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, grab food from one of the rotating local vendors, and settle in for a summer night that feels like the whole valley showed up. Admission is free, with a suggested $5 donation at the gate to keep the series going.
